Kundalini Yoga

After practicing Kundalini Yoga for over seven years, I completed a nine month immersive Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in June 2024. This ancient technology brings together breath (pranayama), sound (mantra/chanting), movement (kriya/asana) and meditation (centring the mind) to balance the body, mind and soul. It is known as the yoga of awareness and is often referred to as the ‘householders yoga’ as it’s for everyone – all ages, fitness and flexibility levels.

This practice can transform your entire being… it is simple, yet powerful. Some of the many benefits include, purifying and oxygenating the blood, balancing and calming the nervous system, detoxing the mind, strengthening the physical body, awakening the energy bodies, creating restorative sleep patterns and boosting the immune system. The effects of Kundalini Yoga can be felt immediately and will bring you into a still point of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Weekly classes will be offered in Welcome Bay beginning in term four, 2024. Luana Studio is a small, bespoke space that welcomes up to eight students into a Kundalini Yoga class. Mats, bolsters, cushions and blankets are provided.

Tuesday:  9.15am – 10.30am
Thursday:  9.15am – 10.30am

$180 – Book for the term:  1 class per week for 10 weeks
$20 – Casual class

Monday:  9.15am – 10.45am … 4-week series – 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November

This is a taster for beginners covering the essentials of a Kundalini Yoga class.  You will learn some of the foundational breath practices and dive into the core teachings, while experiencing the benefits of breathwork (pranayama), mantra (sound current), mudra (hand postures) meditation (mind focus) & kriya (yoga set).
